Bath / Shower / Sink |
||||
A bath and/or a shower cabin (as well as metal sinks) are almost always delivered anti-drummed. So the vibrations from the drops falling in the bath / shower/ sink are captured.
Sound insulation of a bath, shower or sink.With a simple method you can check if your bath / shower/ sink is anti-drummed. On the under side of the steel surface a black bitumen is stuck. If you have no view of the of the under side then you can knock on the surface: If it has a dim rumble (which does not tilt for long) then certainly anti-drumming has been applied When you find the anti drumming insufficient (or there is none) then you can improve it yourself by applying a plate of self-adhesive Vibrafex at the under side of the bath / shower/ sink
