Vibradamp A90-P is specially recommended for the 'sandwich-anti-drumming' of steel plate and aluminium with a thickness from 4 mm. Here the under surface to be anti-drummed is covered with a thin steel or aluminium plates where Vibradamp A90-P functions as a visco-elastic intermediate layer. For sandwich-anti-drumming a small thick layer of Vibradamp A90-P is needed: for 4 mm steel plate 1 mm Vibradamp A90-P and one steel plate of 1mm thick must be used. Vibradamp A90-P is applied to ship’s hulls as sandwich-anti-drumming.

For sandwich-anti-drumming you need 10 times less paste than by anti--drumming without steel plates. So you save alot of money. There the result will be much better in comparison to the other anti-drumming pastes.

Attention: Only Vibradamp A90-P is suitable for sandwich-anti-drumming; other anti-drumming pastes are not.

For thin steel plates (<4 mm as for example in a car door) Vibradamp A90-P can be applied without steel plates. Here a ration of 1:2 must be kept (for every mm steel plate at least2 mm Vibradamp A90-P must be used).

Vibradamp A90-P is suitable when weight increase is a problem and/or for hard to reach places. For anti-drumming of easily accessible places where the weight is not a problem we advise the use of Vibraflex; this is a bitumen plate with high mass and excellent anti-drumming that morphs itself simply to the under surface (and is cheaper than Vibradamp A90-P).
