Central Heating-boiler/District Heating |
||||||||||||||||
For central heating and district heating two kinds of noise appear: Nuisance Noise from the burnerThe noise of the burner is a form of air noise. To reduce this noise you must apply absorption material (Soundstone) in the central heating-space. If the central heating (CH) boiler is in a big space, we advise you to build a housing around the central heating made from a sufficiently heavy material (for example, wood) . Then, you can cover it with Soundstone. Nuisance noise from the pumpThe noise from the pump is conducted to the wall radiators which radiate it as an audible noise. Vibrations are transferred via the central heating piping which can transfer vibrations onto the walls and radiators. Vibration energy is transported through the central heating (contact noise) and is radiated everywhere as audible noise (air noise) and via the piping transferred to the radiators which radiate it as audible sound.
