Exhaust noise

There are two kind of noise from the exhaust: contact noise and air noise. You have contact noise when your exhaust lies rigid against the chassis. There you can check if the rubber mounting brackets for your exhaust are in good order.

If the noise is made at the mouth of the exhaust then we are talking about air noise. This can be stopped by covering the floor of the boot with Vibraflex Extreme. 9N) can be used for the sides. In addition to an anti-drum function Vibraflex simultaneously has an insulating ability. For extra isolation (and a nice finish) you can cover the boot with Isomat VM.

Attention: For the insulating operation of Vibraflex it is important that the Vibraflex is applied firmly . So, there are no noise cracks.
